Guide: Sandbox Chat
The Sandbox Chat is a global widget available on every authenticated page of your dashboard. It allows you to interact with your Apps in real-time, testing classification and resolution logic exactly as your users would experience it via the API.
Features
Section titled “Features”Global Availability
Section titled “Global Availability”The widget is always accessible via the floating blue chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
App Context
Section titled “App Context”You can switch between any of your active Apps using the dropdown selector. The chat session is scoped to the selected App.
Classification Sets
Section titled “Classification Sets”Test specific Classification Sets to verify how your defined classes behave.
- Default Set: Uses the app’s default classification logic.
- Specific Sets: Select a named set to test specific categorization rules.
- Note: If an App has no classification sets, the input will be disabled.
Debug Trace
Section titled “Debug Trace”The Sandbox Chat provides detailed insight into the API operations behind every message.
- Click “Trace” within any Assistant response to expand the logs.
- View exact
POSTpayloads sent to/v1/classifyand/v1/resolve/respond. - Inspect the raw JSON responses from the Intent Engine.
System Messages
Section titled “System Messages”The chat displays system-level events to help you understand the flow:
- Thinking…: Indicates the engine is processing.
- Classified as…: Shows the determined intent label.
- Processing…: Shows extraction and resolution steps for compound queries.
How to Use
Section titled “How to Use”- Open the widget by clicking the icon in the bottom-right.
- Select the App you wish to test.
- Select a Classification Set (optional).
- Type a message and press Enter.
- Analyze the response and use the “Trace” feature to debug if results are unexpected.
